Short guides to new (to us) Halloween events

Ack, this is really a last-minute post orz. Thankfully the newer Halloween events are in general pretty simple. The season itself will last until maintenance on this Thursday, 24 Oct 2013.


Guide #1: 見習い魔女のカボチャスープ (The Apprentice Witch's Pumpkin Soup) (added in 2012)

Guide #2: 友達が欲しい！ (I want friends!) (added in 2013)


Step #1: At western Downtown, at the right hand corner beside the stairs, speak to this Really Suspicious Bro (いかにも怪しいお兄さん). He will show off his accessories (his hair ribbon and bat-pouch) and ask if you want one as well. Choose option #1 (ほしい!) for yes:

Step #2: That said, this fellow then tells you that you need to bring something to exchange for his stuff. He's hungry, so he says, and so you are to bring either five Apples or Potatoes to him. What you bring to him will decide which item you'll receive when you clear this event: Apples for the ribbon, Potatoes for the pouch. For Apples, choose option #1; for Potatoes, option #2:

Both items can be found from Tiny Island, so have fun collecting~


Step #3: When ready, speak to the chap and choose option #1 (渡す) to give him his food:

You'll receive either a Pretty Bat Wing (Event) (プリティバットウイング（イベント）) for the Apples or an Awareness Ribbon (Event) (アウェアネス・リボン（イベント）) for the Potatoes. Whichever it is, double-click on it:

There's a piece of paper attached to your Event item! Choose option #1 (手紙を読む) to read:

Step #4: It turns out to be a confession letter from this chap asking you to be his friend. Be a good Samaritan and choose option #1 (サインする) to sign the contract:

Step #5: Talk to this chap again and choose option #1 (サインした物を渡す) to give him the signed letter:

Congratulations, you've just made a friendless fellow feel less lonely! In his gratitude, the Event items will become actual equipment this time:

Pretty Bat Wing (プリティバットウイング) (Backpack)

Awareness Ribbon (Back) (アウェアネス・リボン（バック）) (Head Accessory)

If you have the Ribbon, you can speak to the Suspicious fellow again and ask him to change its design. There are two alternative choices to choose from:

 Awareness Ribbon (Side) (アウェアネス・リボン（サイド）)

Awareness Ribbon (Headband) (アウェアネス・リボン（カチューシャ）)

The switch can be done as many times as you like.
