jpECO update for 27-10-2011

The 27-10-2011 update in jpECO bring players some goodies and a new boss.


1) Face Switch!

Don't like your (character's) face? With the 27-10-2011 update in jpECO, players now have the option to change their characters' faces with a new IM tool =3.

There are six face-change tools: one with a whole new set of faces (five different types) and various eye-colors, and the other five contain faces that are available at character setup, four of them which are race-specific (containing Face 1 ~ 15) and one with the remaining face choices (Face 16 ~ 20). For those who might want to switch back to their old faces if they end up liking it more than the new one, there's also a new IM tool that acts like the Magical Mirror Contract, only that this tool is for switching faces and there's no expiry date.

2) Ex Emotions!

So the long-awaited option to change faces has finally arrived in ECO, as promised when SAGA 14 was announced. But this itself is hardly a great change to ECO; after all, it's just a change of graphics, like equipment and hairstyle.

Now to actually have facial EXPRESSIONS... This, is something really new.

Enter the new Ex Emotions. Currently only four of them, players can now make their characters smile, glare, cry and (>∇<). Once again, you'll need the relevant IM tool to learn the Ex Emotions, one for each use (so to learn all four, you'll need to buy four such tools)

 3) Finally! A boss for LT!

Enter.... THE HORUS GOLEM.

Like the Ruler of Titania, this guy occupies an alternate version of an existing map, in his case, LT Main Floor L1. To access his domain, players need to speak to the Waiting Adventurer first, who is found at Morg's Airship dock to LT, before proceeding to Main Floor L1. A certain amount of fame is required for triggering his InsD.

According to jpECO's official blog, this guy has around 5,000,000 HP and even high-level 3rd jobbers have their hands full with him.

The rest of the update includes the opening of a new fishing spot at Fareast Main Street, equipment reinforcement limit increased to 25, a reward for completing the Farm Catalogue, as well as the usual seasonal events.
